Ready to Go…

The lecture phase of this year's DTS is almost done and so in just a few days the students will be beginning their 8 weeks of outreach. It's been so good to see them grow in faith and to baptise 5 of them on Sunday afternoon!

This week Tim and Lastone (a student from last year's DTS) have been teaching the students about God's provision and what it means to work, rest, and trust in the Lord. It's amazing how as we talk of such things and study what the Bible has to say, we can see the truth of it all in each of our lives. We are from different nations and backgrounds and yet we have all seen God's hand of provision. Tonight Tim will be speaking at Beulah's community night about some of the incredible ways God has provided for us over the years, both during the time we've spent living in Zambia as well as so much in the U.K. as well. It was 20 years ago this month Tim first came to Zambia on a gap year (23 years since Gemma did the same thing) and we know God's fingerprints can be found over everything! We love that during this coming outreach phase the DTS students will get to visit and serve with people and in places we've known for so many years.

The photo above was in 2011 and was the last time we saw Pastors Rodgers and Isaac in Malawi. Tim should hopefully be meeting and introducing the DTS team to them again sometime in October!

Abigail and Hannah will only join the DTS outreach for one week this time so that don't have to miss as much school as last year. They are both looking forward to that and also coming back to the U.K. for a visit over Christmas.

Hannah enjoyed her 10th Birthday 'spa'rty, and enjoyed being pampered with her friends.

Thanks so much to all of you for your support. We often tell people how you are very much part of God's provision for us!

With love from Tim, Gemma, Abigail and Hannah x
